The 2008 Olympics in Beijing are over. In fact they are having the closing ceremony right now. Our grand total came to 18 medals 3 gold 9 silver and 6 bronze. We beat the medal count in Athens! So maybe in 2012 we will even beat this grand total! Our Canadian Olympians did great as they got lots of medals but also they represented Canada well. These Olympians always had a smile on their face no matter what. Way to go Canada! You represented well!

I really liked this closing ceremony, espiacially compared to the opening ceremony. I was really surprised on the amount of medals we one this year!
